Spring is coming! And so is the Whitehorse Volunteer Fair!
When: Wednesday, April 14, 2010 / 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Where: Canada Games Centre, ATCO Arena
Hosted by: Volunteer Yukon
For: Yukon NGO’s and the general public
This is a great opportunity to:
(1) Recruit the volunteers your organization needs!
(2) Promote your NGO, its services and/or its cause!
(3) Process new memberships!
(4) Network with other NGO’s!
(5) Publicly recognize your current and/or former volunteers!
(6) Participate in draws for refurbished PC’s and other give-away items!
Registration fee: $30 for VY member organizations / $60 for non-members
One 6-ft table and two chairs will be provided for each organization (you are welcome to bring additional chairs).
Electrical outlets can be used, but you will need to bring your own extension cordd.
Wireless Internet service is available for a fee.
You are encouraged to bring presentation/promotional materials.
Booth set-up will be from 8:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. on April 14.
Tables must be staffed by at least one person from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Take down must be completed by 8:30 p.m.
Registration/cancellation deadline: Friday, March 19.
(Registration fees will not be refunded after March 19.)
